Remarkable App Supposedly Makes Accurate Weather Forecasts

Jack Turner and Adam Grossman, two web developers from Troy, New York, have claimed to have created an app which can tell people which minute certain types of precipitation  (snow, rain, sleet, hail, etc.) begin and how long they last. Their inspiration was an irritating moment when Grossman was stuck in traffic due to a torrential downpour. He tried to check the weather on an old radar app, but it was to no avail. He couldn't find out how long the rain would last and when he would be able to get home. This moment prompted the two developers to create an app that makes planning convenient for everyone. They downloaded free radar data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and invented the remarkable software. It contains a flaw, however. The app, called Dark Sky, only operates over a short period of time. It can only calculate the accurate times one to two hours in advance. That means that the app is not for those people who travel constantly. Grossman actually proved the app's accuracy on his wedding day. It was postponed due to heavy rain. His app said that the rain would end in an hour. It actually did and the marriage was able to continue.
