Biotic Limiting Factor in my Neighborhood

This is a biotic limiting factor in my community because it controls the growth of a population. Everything living underneath the pine needles gets a limited amount of sunlight. It is also a home for many forest animals. Squirrels can make holes inside the trunk of the tree to use as a home or as a food storage. Birds can use the mulch and grass to make a nest on a branch. A plant's main food sources are sunlight and water. If a plant tries to survive under this tree, it won't get either of them. These are reasons why this pine tree is a biotic limiting factor.
